Things to Remember

Please dress up warmly (including a hat, shoes and possibly gloves) for exercise early in the morning. If you’re attending the class for the first time, please arrive a few minutes in advance to complete registration for the class.

Dr. Matthew Vo

Dr. Matthew Vo, Tai chi Master

Dr. Vo began his martial arts training more than 45 years ago. He earned a black belt in Taekwondo and learned many other martial arts before focusing on Tai chi, which he has been practicing for more than 35 years. During his kung fu journey, he had the fortune of learning with many premier grandmasters, including descendants of monks from the Shaolin Temple in China.

Combining Western and Eastern Medicine

In addition, Dr. Vo received his Western medical training from some of the best medical institutions, including Harvard Medical School. He has been practicing medicine full-time for more than 20 years. Dr. Vo believes that Western medicine is complemented very well by Eastern medicine practices. When they are used together, they can bring about amazing benefits.
